urgent care franklin walk-in clinic

Mission:

Prohealth provides quality, affordable, and comprehensive health care services at each of its medical facilities for all members of the surrounding communities.

History:

On March 6, 1996, Prohealth Medical Centers opened its first facility in Franklin, TN. This facility was opened as a not-for-profit under the designation of Rural Health Clinic and Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Program. The clinic was opened to address Williamson County's need for expanded access to healthcare services for its largely uninsured and underinsured population. With enormous support from the community and civic partners, Prohealth was quickly on the track to attending well over 6,000 visits per year.

In 2002, Prohealth Medical Centers recognized a need for its services in Davidson County and Maury County . On April 1, 2002, it expanded its service area into Davidson County with the addition of its second facility in Nashville. This facility quickly out grew its home in Southern Hills Medical Center and moved to its current location on Harding Place. Shortly after, Prohealth expanded its service area into Maury county. On August 1, 2002, Prohealth opened its third location located in Columbia, TN.

On June 4, 2004, Prohealth received federal recognition of its efforts and was awarded the designation of Federally Qualified Health Center LA. Prohealth joins 84 other FQHCLAs nationwide in its commitment to providing quality care to all members of its serviced communities.

Prohealth's most recent addition serves the Nashville homeless population at the Nashville Rescue Mission. This facility opened May 1, 2009.
